Darl Bonnema, Aquatics Director
Darl Brings over 30 years of experience to the Aquatics Academy , and is responsible for WPS's Swim Team program. In recent years, he has served as Head Swim Coach/Aquatics Director and Certified Personal Trainer at Arnold Palmer’s Bay Hill Club and Lodge. In 2007, Darl founded Tropical Sports Alliance Inc, which provides services that range from swimming lessons to nutritional counseling and personal training.
Cindy Welch, Aquatics Coordinator
Cindy has been working in aquatics since 1997. Prior to coming to WPS in 2006, she was an Aquatics Director for the Central Florida YMCA. Cindy is a certified Infant Swimming Resource Instructor, and is currently offering that program along with traditional swim lessons at the WPS pool.
